Oransj 2023 is made from a single barrel of perry with fruit from our two precious 150-year-old grey pear trees, and a barrel of refreshing Rubinstep cider, both from the 2023 harvest. The perry and cider were transferred to one of our sandstone amphoras, where it refermented on large amounts of German Chardonnay grape skins. Two months of skin contact and six months of aging without skins makes this a dry, crisp, and floral orange wine-style cider.
